Born in the vibrant DMV area, ANKN & VDR is a dynamic trio of music producers - Anikan, Vader, and Darth Mulls. What began as a hobby soon transformed into a mission to redefine the musical landscape with their unique approach. Their journey took a significant turn during the pandemic when they reached out to artists they admired, leading to collaborations with industry stalwarts like Eric Roberson, DIXSON, BOSCO, Aaron Camper, and JaVonte.

With notable production credits for artists like Boney James, BeMyFiasco, Jarius Mozee, Pink Sweats, Maeta, and Ari Lennox, and music placements on shows like NBC’s Grand Crew, "Harlem", "North of the 10", and "Godfather of Harlem", ANKN & VDR have made their mark. Their productions, including Eric Roberson’s hit "Lessons" and its remix, have amassed over 15 million streams on digital platforms.

Unbound by genres, ANKN & VDR play with the 'light and dark sides' of music. The 'light side' explores the melodic, chord-structured sounds of R&B, pop, jazz, and gospel, while the 'dark side' delves into the grittier sonic qualities of hip-hop/rap and alternative.
